About Us

Ailsa Pringle MRCVS

Ailsa Pringle (DVM MRCVS)

Ailsa spent four years studying as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. She then moved on to finish her degree at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia. After five years of studying abroad, Ailsa returned to the UK and settled in Bath where she started working as a small animal general practitioner.

Five years in clinical practice led to the realisation that Ailsa had a passion for pain management in senior pets and she qualified to practice acupuncture and laser therapy as therapeutic treatments to help alleviate and manage chronic pain conditions such as Osteoarthritis. With over 80% of pets over the age of 8 years believed to suffer from arthritis alone, using these therapies alongside medication under the direction of a vet with such passion and care, Veterinary Pain Management LTD was born and quickly developed into providing home based euthanasia.

Ailsa continues to work alongside her employer, as well as other local practices, to bring her services to where her clients need them - either in practice or in private homes to ensure the best treatment for their pets right to the end.
